デザイナーであり、Snowcrashのクリエイティブディレクターを務めていたイルッカ・スッパネンが編集しており、英国のキュレーターで作家のジェーン・ウィザースが序文を寄せています。

‘SNOWCRASH (1997-2003)’ is a book that compiles the little-known background of an international design company established by a group of young Finnish architects and designers.

With their optimistic vision of the future, they designed a collection that connects art and technology, as well as the real and virtual worlds, and through advanced design management, they broke away from the traditional image of Finnish design and grew into an international design company.

This 208-page book re-examines the ideas behind Snowcrash's collection, which spanned only a few years, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by a wireless, digitally connected society.

The book is edited by Ilkka Suppanen, a designer and former creative director of Snowcrash, with a foreword by Jane Withers, a British curator and writer.
